I've said it before.....

.....and I'll say it again, Juice could be describing my library. If you'd like to be amused (or disheartened in another respect), go visit Tales from the "Liberry" and read his chronicle of conversation for today. Other than the fact that he is a he and I am a she, we could comfortably swap places with only minor difficulty. How is it that the public library experience can be so similar across the board? (well, mine anyway)

Rock on, Juice! Keep fighting the good fight!

his blog is THE BEST! i love it, and it is eerie how similar the situations are to some of our own...

maybe people really are the same, everywhere!

I thought at first maybe it's just a relatively southern thing but even the experiences related by Don Borchert in his book, Free For All: Oddballs, Geeks and Ganstas in the Public Library, bear similarities and that is a library system in California. Go figure! I simply must remind everyone of the ill-styled librarian, bless his heart.

okay, let me rephrase that because I don't look like the ill-styled librarian...I just wanted to bring him back to mind for those who may have forgotten him

E, when you get to that point, tell me don't squeal with horror when you find out what he and a coworker find in the bookdrop. It's horrifying...I'll never look at our bookdrop the same way again.
