It's easier to do this high up on the scale, or it usually is for me. Once I get to around 275 or 250, THEN I start having to work REALLY hard for it. I'm going to get there though. I've done it before.
Just realize that it should take you about a year or so to lose the weight you want to drop. So, keep a good frame of mind and take one day at a time. If you can lose that weight in a year, you'll have done it in a healthy way that should work for you long-term. Continued success!
It took me two years last time I lost 180 pounds, so I figure it'll be the same stretch of time this time around... You're right, lots of people don't realize how long it takes to do it the healthy way!
